If you would like to start the annulment process, or were previously married and are looking to get married, or just have some questions, let's start a conversation about how we can help:

Start Talking to a Priest

What is an annulment?

An annulment, or a decree of nullity, is a declaration on the part of an ecclesiastical tribunal determining whether or not a previously attempted marriage is valid in the eyes of the Church.

An annulment is not...

  • a divorce
  • a declaration that a civil marriage never took place
  • a judgment on the quality of love you had for your spouse
  • a judgment on the "legitimacy" of children from that prior bond

How does the process work?

  • Feel free to set up a meeting with a priest, and he will be happy to answer your questions and walk you through it.
