Dehonian Mission in Cameroon & Chad – Bringing Hope Where It’s Most Needed

Support the Mission

The Priests of the Sacred Heart of Jesus (Dehonians), Founded by Fr. Léon Dehon, serve with deep devotion to the Sacred Heart, committed to justice, compassion, and love. In Cameroon and Chad, this spirituality takes concrete form in ministries that address both spiritual and urgent human needs.

Formation & Vocation Ministry: Through our novitiate house in Ndoungue, our scholasticates for philosophy in Bamenda and theology in Yaoundé, and our annual programs for aspirants, we provide integral human, spiritual, and academic formation to prepare future missionaries to serve the Church with dedication, humility, and zeal.

Education & Social Outreach: From our formation center in Bafoussam for street children to the construction of a Catholic school in Bamenda, we offer shelter, quality education, and vocational training, empowering youth to rebuild their lives.

Humanitarian Initiatives: In northern Cameroon and Chad, we care for orphans, abandoned children, and school dropouts, providing food, clothing, education, and access to clean water—essential in regions facing severe scarcity.

Rebuilding Lives in Douala: Our new community supports boys and girls displaced by conflict, offering counseling, shelter, and skills for a hopeful future.

Your generosity will help build and renovate schools and centers, supply essentials, install solar energy and clean water systems, and sustain life-changing programs. Together, we can make Christ’s love visible where despair seems stronger. Please join us in this mission of reparation and hope—your gift will transform lives today.

Welcome to Father Pascal, who will preach today’s Mission Appeal for August 24th’s second collection.
