Faithful Citizenship:

Forming Your Conscience for Voting

RSVP here:   https://saintjn.org/serving-our-parish-family/racial-justice-ministry/

Since no one political candidate embodies the solution to all moral challenges concerning our faith, the Church refrains from dictating any candidate.

Join us on September 19 at 7 p.m. at Saint John Neumann Catholic Church, for a non-partisan discussion of the true meaning of “Faithful Citizenship". Based on the USCCB’s “Forming Consciences for Faithful Citizenship,” USCCB's Introductory Note for Forming Your Conscience and Pope Francis’ thoughts on “A Better Kind of Politics,” St. John Neumann’s Racial Justice Ministry will host a lively dialogue investigating ways to align your choice of candidate with your value system within the framework of Catholic Social Teaching. The discussion will be led by Fr. Tom Ferguson, pastor of Good Shepherd Catholic Church in Alexandria, and SJN parishioner Chris Offen assisting with the flow of questions. All are invited to join us—you bring the questions, and we will provide the refreshments!

Please RSVP here -- https://saintjn.org/serving-our-parish-family/racial-justice-ministry/ --  so we may plan for this event. St. John Neumann is located at 11900 Lawyers Road in Reston, Virginia.  See you there!
