Fall Appeal for Our Lady of Lourdes in Poplar, Montana

We are pleased to welcome Msgr. Dan Wathen, a priest of the Diocese of Great Falls-Billings and alumnus of The Catholic University of America, who will be visiting Our Lady of Lourdes on the weekend of October 24–25, 2026. Msgr. Wathen will preach at all English Masses throughout the weekend, sharing insights into the Gospel and highlighting the vital ministry at our sister parish, Our Lady of Lourdes in Poplar, Montana, located on the Fort Peck Indian Reservation. As many know, Our Lady of Lourdes in Poplar, Montana, was recently burnt down and need our support now more than ever. The second collection October 24-25 will be taken to support this mission appeal.

Parish Reception & Mission Presentation

• When: Sunday, October 25, 2026, at 1:00 PM (following the 12:00 PM Mass)

• Where: Our Lady of Lourdes Parish Hall

• Details: Join us for an extended presentation by Msgr. Wathen, featuring additional remarks from Fr. Edlefsen and Donna Hansberry.

• Hospitality: Heavy hors d'oeuvres, beer, and wine will be provided, generously underwritten and catered by La Bettola courtesy of Catholic Extension.

• Admission & RSVP: Open to all parishioners! While attendance is open to everyone, an RSVP is requested to help us get an accurate headcount for catering.
