Volunteer Form for Society of St. Vincent de Paul
Society of St. Vincent de Paul
Who we Are?
The Society of St. Vincent de Paul (SVdP) is an international Catholic organization of lay people who seek, in a spirit of justice and charity and by person-to-person involvement, to help those who are in need of assistance. To provide this personal and neighborly help, Vincentians organize themselves into groups at the parish level in groups known as Conferences. We serve everyone in our district, regardless of race, creed, church attendance, color, ethnicity, or social background.
What do we do?
We help to provide temporary financial assistance to help a person or family in emergency. If we cannot provide monetary assistance, we will refer you to the appropriate public or private agency that can help. A list of organization that may be able to help are below.

Prayer
O glorious Saint Vincent, heavenly patron of charitable societies and spiritual father of those in misery, while on earth you extended a kindly hand to the needy. Through your merciful intercession, obtain help for the destitute, relief for the abandoned, solace for the unfortunate, comfort for the sick and the grace of preaching the Gospel to the poor.
May your example of charity encourage priests to work for the salvato of all souls so that the love of Christ may be known to all people. We ask this through Christ our Lord.
Amen.
