Lighting Renovations

Dear Parishioners,

Lighting renovations will take place in the church during September. The project, which will take 4-6 weeks to complete, will be performed by William McCarthy & Son, a contractor who has worked with Our Lady of Lourdes for over 20 years and has knowledge of parish facilities. We look forward to having new LED lighting throughout the church. This renovation will not impact the church’s availability for Mass and prayer. However, various sections of the church will be roped-off with caution tape, and scaffolding will be in erected in parts of the church as the project progresses. All parishioners are mandated to avoid sitting, wandering, or allowing children to play in areas marked off with caution tape during the renovation. Parents, it is vital that you do not allow children to play on the scaffolding or wander beyond the caution tape. Thank you for your patience and cooperation! Once the project is completed, we will all enjoy an environmentally friendly, less expensive, and improved lighting atmosphere at OLOL. I’m happy to say that this project will be paid for with restricted savings for capital improvements. No capital campaign is necessary. This is a win for all of us!

In Christ,

Father Edlefsen
